Personal Development at Goffs promotes confidence in oneself, awareness of self-identity and authentic self-esteem. Britain’s democratic parliamentary system and its central role in shaping our history and values, and in continuing to develop Britain is prominent in our Personal development. Within PDev lessons will ensure all students leave Goffs prepared for their adult lives. We aim to make our students responsible, respectful, and active citizens who play their part and become actively involved in public life as adults, able to understand how to engage with society. Students leave Goffs having learnt about integrity and cooperate consistently well with others and possess the qualities they need to flourish in our society with the ability to recognise the difference between right and wrong, understanding of the consequences of their behaviour and actions.
