Uniform
We have exceptionally high expectations of our students with regard to their uniform. Students wear their uniform with pride; it is an important element of being part of the Goffs community.
Uniform Standards
We expect a very high standard of appearance and rely upon the support of parents in this matter. If a student is wearing incorrect uniform they will be subject to isolation until the correct item is brought into school.
No jewellery other than a watch and one pair of discreet stud earrings worn in the lobe of the ear only. No other body piercings are allowed.
In aiming to create a smart appearance, we expect hairstyles for boys and girls to be conventional and acceptable to the school. As a guideline, there should be no extremes of unnatural colour or two-tone colours (dip-dye). Hair should be tidy and tied back where appropriate on health and safety grounds.
Shaven heads are not acceptable unless there are religious grounds in which case, a signed letter from the appropriate religious organisation is required.
Make-up including nail varnish, fake tan, false nails and false eyelashes are not permitted below the Sixth Form.
Students must always wear their Coloured Lanyard with Student ID card - Provided by the school (lost or replacement Lanyards/ID cards will incur a £2.50 charge)

Authorised Uniform Suppliers
The number of ‘branded’ items which parents are required to purchase from an authorised supplier have been kept to a minimum. The school aims to provide parents with a range of choice, and the ability to keep costs to a minimum, whilst also retaining consistency with items such as the Goffs blazer and tie.
Our authorised uniform suppliers for branded items are:
Hawkins

Goffs Academy
During the summer term, the school will be working with current students and parents to establish a stock of high-quality, pre-used items of uniform. Parents will be able to visit the school at designated times to browse the items in stock. The school will be in contact with all parents to provide further information.
Financial Support
Financial assistance may be available to support with school uniform costs. Parents/carers are advised to contact the school to discuss the support available.
A reminder to parents that we operate a 'Nearly New' uniform scheme, where we encourage parents to contribute items of uniform which are no longer required, which are then made available for families who will use them. Please contact the school for more information regarding our 'Nearly New' items of uniform which we currently have in stock.
