Thursday 10th October 2024, wear yellow day
Wear Yellow Day, will take place on Thursday 10th October 2024. To participate, students are encouraged to wear any yellow items, alongside their school uniform, to show their support for YoungMinds, a charity dedicated to the mental health and well-being of young people.
We want to see as much yellow as possible! Whether it's a yellow accessory, socks, t-shirts, football shirts, hoodies —let's make a statement and show our support for this important cause. In return, we kindly ask students to bring a £1 donation, which will be collected at the school gate in the morning, with all proceeds going directly to YoungMinds.
Please note, this is not a non-school uniform day—students must still wear their full uniform in line with school policy, and all usual rules regarding make-up, jewellery, and nails apply. If students have PE on this day, they must bring their full PE kit.
We are also holding a bake sale during break and lunch time to raise further funds for YoungMinds. All contributions and support are greatly appreciated!
Let’s turn the school yellow on Thursday and make a big impact for mental health!
