Year 7 Girls Netball
The Year 7s had their very first district tournament representing Goffs tonight.
The A team were victorious winning all their matches in the group stage, beating Haileybury 10-0 in the semi final and then after a close fought final beat Broxbourne 7-4l! This was an excellent achievement especially as one of their best players was unable to play due to an injury.
The B team played some excellent netball (coached all year by Emily Sabatino in Year 9) and won all the games in the group stage finishing top. Unfortunately they closely missed out on the B team final by losing to St Marys by one goal in the semi final.
The C team were up against all teams and lost all of their games, but still enjoyed themselves.
