Phoenix – "A person or thing regarded as uniquely remarkable in some respect"

If you've found your way onto this page, we welcome you and congratulate you on the huge honour of being part of Phoenix House! Whilst our history is lacking, we refuse to be brought down, and unlike Eagles, Falcons or Hawks, we will spring up once again. Slowly but surely, we are building a huge community here and greet you in with welcome arms. Below you'll find our latest achievements (that will be updated regularly!), upcoming events and more information regarding the house. Together, we will rise like a Phoenix.

Standings – Phoenix Rising!

Firstly a massive thank you to all of the Phoenix students that have helped us get to second place in the House Table! This is a massive achievement, and although the margins are thin (just over 400 house points in front of Falcon and around 2,000 behind Hawk), if we keep up the work that we’ve been doing throughout the year already, we’re sure to soar to the top! Throughout all year groups, make sure that you are always fighting for those house points in both lessons and activities at either break, lunch or after school!

Your Charity

After close deliberation throughout all Phoenix forms, it was decided upon that Scope would be our house charity. Therefore, all funds raised in house events will be split evenly between the other house charities and given the proceeds. Scope is a simply wonderful project, helping those who suffer with a range of different disabilities. Here is a brief overview of the work that they do:
“Scope exists to make this country a place where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. Until then, we’ll be here. We provide support, information and advice to more than a quarter of a million disabled people and their families every year. We raise awareness of the issues that matter. And with your support, we'll keep driving change across society until this country is great for everyone.”

Phoenix House is absolutely thrilled to support Scope and the truly brilliant work that they do. To find out more about our charity, go to
