Winning 13-1 against Chauncy,

Goals from Lucy Todd (2), Jess Gottesman (5), Maddie Murchison (2), Billie Grayston (3) and Ellie Rose Cole (1). Excellent play from the rest of the team; Jessica Marlow, Tilly Barnard, Aimee Knowles, Millie Graves and Ellie Hickman.

On Wednesday 9th March, Goffs School took part in the Mayor's Debate against local schools and secured a first place victory, with the judges commenting on an exceptional performance which they awarded 93%. read more

US Ambassador Visits Goffs School - Sixth Form students at Goffs School started the year with a visit from the US Ambassador to the UK, Matthew Barzun, on 7th January 2016. The Ambassador visited the school to listen to the views of students about the USA and to discuss issues that are important to them. read more

To Staff, Parents, Carers and Students,

On behalf of Amnesty International Goffs School , we would like to thank all students , staff and parents who generously gave their time and means to help impact the lives of children this Christmas. Together we were able to pack over 100 shoe boxes - filled with toys , school supplies and basic necessities - for Operation Christmas Child. Our packed shoe box gifts , joined by millions of others are on their way to make a difference to children in 100 countries.

We hope that the community will continue to support and assist us with our future endeavours.

Awards Evening July 14th 2015 - On the 15th of July was our first Pride of Goffs awards evening. It was an uplifting time of celebration of all the amazing achievements of our students over the past year. Particular congratulations go to the winners of the Principal's Award: Katie Avril, Allie-Georgia Aylott, Sam Edwards, Daria Neagu and Jaden Rudd as well as the winner of the Teacher of the Year award, Mr Emmott.

Goffs School Footballers Achieve Record Success - In 2015 Goffs School became the first school to win the u14, u15 and u16 Hertfordshire Schools FA County Cup competitions, in the same season. At the recent AGM Herts SFA chairman, Andy Braithwaite, congratulated Goffs School on their unprecedented achievement.

Rugby Legend Jonny Wilknson at Goffs - His magic touch won England the Rugby World Cup, but it was Jonny Wilkinson's turn to be inspired when he taught students during a school visit. Spending the day at Goffs Academy in Cheshunt, the former England fly-half showed 20 pupils how to pass, catch and kick during two masterclasses.

Goffs School held an extremely successful Careers Fair for the Aspiration and Achievement groups in February. We look forward to hosting a similar event in the future that will help inspire our students on their chosen career pathways.

Goffs School Students Present to Nick Clegg - Goffs was the only school invited to present and both Kye and Abigail, who wrote their own speeches, presented them perfectly to the audience of 250, which included Schools Minister, David Laws and Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg.

Goffs in the top 10% of schools - Goffs School has for the second year running received national recognition for the value it adds to enable students’ high achievement at GCSE.

Hertfordshire Anti Bullying Initiative Accreditation Award has awarded Goffs School The award has been given to Goffs in recognition of achieving high quality anti – bullying practice against rigorous standards
