Goffs Academy run a two year Key Stage 4; therefore your son/daughter will be finishing Key Stage 3 at the end of Year 9 this year and is about to make the first major curriculum decision in their school life; namely what options to take during Years 10 and 11. 

I am therefore inviting you and your son/daughter to our KS4 Options Evening which will take place on Thursday 5th March at 6.00pm. The presentation on the evening will start promptly at 6pm in the Hall, and we would request that you sit with your son/daughter to share information. Please remember that parking is limited so do allow plenty of time to find a parking space in the main school car park or surrounding roads. 

I would like to stress the importance of this evening; this is the start of the process which will shape what your son/daughter will study over the next 2 years. In addition, there will be an opportunity to meet with Heads of Departments in the Subject Fair.

Following the evening, your son/daughter will need to make their choices via an online options form. This will be sent to them along with a link to the KS4 Option Booklet via their school email account from Mrs Hayes, gha@goffs.herts.sch.uk on Friday 6th March, with a deadline for submitting their form online of Friday 13th March. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
